Iridium flare forecast
I will probably not continue the development of this application according to the fact that some (better?) similar application already exists on Android. This was my first real application on Android, this helps me to get familiar with the platform. So thank you very much for using it!
This app get your current location from the GPS or the cell id of your mobile device and go check online when and where to look in the sky for the next Iridium Flares.
I have now added the informations about the ISS.
EDIT Since version 2.0, you can get your location without using your GPS chip. It uses the cell information of your mobile network.
2.5.1:-Added calendar interaction.
2.4.2: -Some bugs fixed.
2.4 : – The system to manage the timezone and daylight time has been totally rewritten. It fixes a bug and allows future integration of calendar events.
-There is a new “donate” button.
2.3.2 : – Now the GPS closes when you close the app.
– There is now a button to recall your last used coordonates.
– You can disable the ad from the menu 🙂
– Mag info directly add to the results
This is my really first app on Android. It works only from Android 1.6 (Donut) and more (2.0,2.0.1,2.1,2.2).
